This place had beautiful antiques and cozy seating areas outside. We enjoyed relaxing by the fire pit each evening.

The lack of elevator access makes lugging bags up to the third floor a workout!!! Those tiny, outdated bathroom fixtures could use some love, and the noise from the excessively sensitive fire alarms is a bit much!!!

Consider requesting a room on a lower floor if you have heavy luggage. it can make check-in and check-out much easier.

i loved my stay at harbourside inn! the property is beautifully maintained, and my king room was so comfortable. the location is perfect, away from the busy streets, but just a short drive to bar harbor. the grab-and-go breakfast was a nice touch, with fresh fruit and yummy baked goods. it was a great base for exploring acadia and nearby scenic spots like thuya gardens.
